CIG Pannónia First Hungarian General Insurance Co. client portal
The non-life client portal of CIG Pannónia First Hungarian General Insurance Co. has been developed to be a sales support application that covers the whole process of insurance contract management. It is a Symfony framework-based, service oriented, thin client application optimized for desktop, tablet and mobile channels.

Technology
The client portal has been developed using Symfony 2.0 framework. According to the basic principles of the Service Oriented Architecture, the application is directly connected to the portfolio management system of CIG via webservices.
Infrastructure management
The client portal operates in CIG's own system architecture. Netpositive Ltd. provides 7/24 support in compliance with an SLA aggreement. Hosting and support activities include the following activities:
- system monitoring, continuously ensuring application operability
- backup services defined by a backup procedure
- monitoring and patching/upgrading the operating system and other core softwares
- installing and configuring other necessary softwares
- managing network and firewall settings
- supervising and fine-tuning of automated processes, manual restarts
- load monitoring, managing necessary hardware upgrades
- documentation of hardware, operating system and core software parameters
